My birthday party at Log Cabin!

Hannah and Bryce

Fall is always so CRAZY for the Reeder household with football season taking up most of our time! We have had fun celebrating my 30th (ugh!) birthday and Halloween. Holly's little boy Bryce came over for a visit and Hannah had a blast. For Halloween, Hannah was Snow White for the Candyland at church and then she decided to go with another costume from her costume stash and was a genie on Saturday night. We had fun trick-or-treating and eating hot dogs with the Brown family! Chad is an amazing husband and spoiled me for my 30th birthday with a big family party, a cool cake, and great gifts. So sweet!

It's fall and that means FOOTBALL FRIDAY NIGHTS for the Reeder household! It is the wildest but most fun time of the year for our family. Between me coaching cheerleaders and Chad coaching football, Hannah is always at events at Ruston High and loves every minute of it. Here are some pics from the first two games--The Bearcats are 2-0! Go RUSTON!

Happy 4th Birthday Hannah!

Hannah turned 4 on September 6th and we celebrated that day with family and then had a big "friend" party on Sept. 12th! The theme was Little Mermaid, as she first asked for in April at Disney World, and she had a blast! Her favorite gift was the Ruthie American Girl doll from Patsy and she's already talking about her 5th birthday party! Thanks to all the family and friends who helped us celebrate. We are blessed to have all of you in our lives!

Great Doctor's Report! Praise the LORD!

Hannah's heart checkup went GREAT! Everything looks the same, which is good news. Thanks for the prayers and thoughts. They still mean so much each time. Chad and I were extra nervous this time because this was when she was initially going to be having a second surgery and thankfully she has not had to! She was also very aware of going to get her heart checked for the first time this visit. Hannah was crying before we left because she didn't want us to take her to have surgery. Sweet girl!

Heart Doctor Checkup Tomorrow

Tomorrow, July 27th, we'll be going to a checkup with Hannah's cardiologist in Shreveport. Please pray for a good report!

Oh, how we love the beach!

We went to the beach last week for Chad's sister's wedding. Taffi and Britt got married in Gulf Shores and Hannah was the flower girl. It was such a fun and relaxed wedding. . . wish ours had been more like that! We spent a week at the beach and had a blast! Congratulations Taffi and Britt! We are so excited for y'all!

Goofy Hannah!

Hannah is always saying funny and strange things as well as doing crazy things to amuse us! I know all kids are the same, but here are a few of her most recent! She decided to strap herself into the car seat on the driveway one evening as well as wearing new sunglasses on the card they came on from Academy. The last pic is of her lifting her "baby weights" at Academy. She is a "cat's ankle" as my mom would say!

Three Years of a Healthy Heart

As two families I know have children under the age of one having heart surgery, Chad and I are so thankful to God for Hannah and her good health. It will be three years on June 28 since her heart surgery and she is doing very well--praise the LORD! Her scar is almost invisible and she only takes half a baby aspirin daily. Other than that, there are no side effects or complications. We go to see Dr. Kiel at LSU every six months for checkups now.

It's easy in day-to-day life to get caught up in school and other stuff and not thank God as much as we should for each moment with Hannah! She is a miracle child and we are blessed to be her parents. Thank you Lord for Hannah Leigh Reeder!

Hannah's First Dance Recital

Hannah had her very first dance recital on June 6th and did a great job! She had a big fan club with Trice, Patsy, Haley, Hilton, Jennifer, Nana, Pappy and Taffi coming to watch her! All year long she never would show us anything she was doing in dance so we were thrilled to see her actually do something and she loved it!

Ok, so I am going to try this blogging thing since it seems like everyone else is and I am WAY behind. I do http://www.babyjellybeans.com/ for Hannah, but this seems easier! We'll see how it goes this summer!
